On March 18, AWF, in collaboration with and hosted by AmeriHealth Caritas of Greensboro, held a Spin & Learn Luncheon. Participants were able to spin the wheel and learn facts about colorectal cancer signs, symptoms, risk factors, and prevention.
On March 24, 2023, AWF, along with Atrium Wake Baptist, attended Winston Salem State University’s Cancer Awareness event. AWF shared information with students about Early Onset CRC, signs & symptoms of CRC, risk factors, and early detection and screening.

On March 25, 2023 AWF participated in the Colon Cancer’s “Get Your Rear in Gear” as a 2022 Grant recipient and as Run participants.
In April 2023 the Angelic Warrior Foundation joined Oak Street Health, Opeat, and Ameritas Health at the Community Health Fair sponsored by the Nehemiah Empowerment Center. AWF shared information about its mission and about colon cancer awareness.
On June 24, 2023, AWF attended the Community Health Fair held by St. Peter’s Church & World Outreach Center.
On August 17, the Angelic Warrior Foundation delivered backpacks and school supplies to Cancer Services for 20 families affected by Cancer for a total of 36 students.

On November 8, 2023, Board Members Paulette & Rachel presented at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health on engaging diverse communities to promote health equity in Cancer Research.
For Thanksgiving 2023, the Angelic Warrior Foundation supported 5 families with $100 Food Lion Gift Cards.
For Christmas 2023, AWF‘s Angel’s shopped and purchased gifts for a total of 29 individuals to include (5 families total, 15 children, & 14 adults) Each individual received a minimum of 3 gifts each.
The Angelic Warrior Foundation networked with Cancer Services to provide Backpacks & School supplies for school aged children whose parents are diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
The Angelic Warrior Foundation networked with Cancer Services to provide financial support via gift cards to patients & families for Thanksgiving.
The Angelic Warrior Foundation solicited Christmas Angels to shop & purchase gifts from the Christmas wish list of patients, caregivers, & families coping with colorectal cancer. We networked with Cancer services to locate families in need.
AWF presents a second check to Atrium Wake Baptist (from grant funds received from the Colon Cancer Coalition‘s Get Your Rear in Gear, in collaboration and support of their CRC initiative of providing FIT test screenings to uninsured individuals via their Mobile Clinic.
On September 10, 2022, AWF attended the 3rd Annual Black Luxe Expo in High Point NC and shared information about the mission of the Angelic Warrior Foundation as well as colon cancer awareness.
The family of Angelica Duggins sponsored a highway in her honor in the county where she was born. In October 2022 they completed their first highway cleanup.
On October 18, the president of AWF was a guest speaker at the NC Triangle Oncology Nursing event in Durham NC sharing information about the mission, goals, & accomplishments of the Angelic Warrior Foundation.
In November 2022, young AWF representatives attended the ‘Youth Hockey Fights Cancer“ event sponsored by the Raleigh Testicular Cancer Foundation in Raleigh NC. These youth attended in order to show support and to share information about the Angelic Warrior Foundation.
In November and December 2022 many little AWF Angels assisted in shopping for gifts for children whose parents were diagnosed with colorectal cancer while the adult Angels shopped for patients and caregivers.
In February 2022, the President of AWF was invited as a guest speaker by the Orion Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons to share information about Colorectal Cancer and the mission of the Angelic Warrior Foundation during their Winter Encampment event. The Orion Grand Lodge also donated $100 to AWF to support our mission.
In March 2022, AWF attends health event in Raleigh NC sponsored by Gut Patrol. AWF shares information about the mission and goals of the Angelic Warrior FoundatIon.
In March 2022, in support of the Colon Cancer Coalition’s Get Your Rear in Gear fundraiser, members of AWF participated as runners in honor & memory of our Angelic Warrior “Angel”.
In May 2022, AWF hosted its 2nd Annual Angel Run. This Run was held both in person in Williamston NC (hometown of our Angelic Warrior “Angel”) and virtually.

This annual fundraiser helps us honor & remember her compassionate, loving, and giving spirit.
October 27 is the birthday Angel shared with her surviving twin. In lieu of gifts for himself, he asks for donations to AWF in his twin’s honor.
On June 26, 2021, in our quest to spread awareness about Colon Cancer, the Angelic Warrior Foundation set up at this event. Colon Cancer informational pamphlets and brochures were distributed to attendees. Baskets of AWF merchandise were also raffled.
On August 7, 2021, in an effort to continue spreading awareness about Colon Cancer & Early Age Onset, AWF set up a table and distributed Colon Cancer informational brochures and pamphlets. We had the opportunity to educate attendees about Early Age Onset CRC.
On August 11, 2021, in order to offer support to families affected by Cancer who have children, the Angelic Warrior Foundation presented Cancer Services with backpacks full of school supplies to be presented to families.
On May 15, 2021, members of the Angelic Warrior Foundation participated in Get Your Rear in Gear, logging a total of 81.93 miles and donating $645 to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
On May 15, 2021, this member, along with his dog, participated in Get Your Rear in Gear while in another state by logging his walking miles and sending in his donations along with the rest of the Angelic Warrior Foundation team.
On May 31, 2021, a member of AWF participated in Tour De Tush , logging 9 milies of bike riding and donating to the cause.
On May 1, 2021 family gathered in Williamston NC (hometown of our Angelic Warrior) to kick off the
1st Annual Angel Run. Due to COVID-19, participants registered online and participated virtually in different cities and states as far as Wisconsin, Philadelphia, Maryland, Virginia, New York & of course North Carolina.
